By using Emberline, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. What Emberline is

Emberline is an anonymous, ephemeral chat service connecting strangers on shared keywords. No accounts required. No messages stored. Conversations are end-to-end encrypted.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Emberline. By using the platform you confirm this.

3. Prohibited conduct

You agree not to transmit, solicit, share, or facilitate:

Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content sexualising minors
Threats of violence, harassment, stalking, or intimidation
Content illegal under Swiss law or your country of residence
Coordinated manipulation, deception, or fraud
Automated access (bots, scrapers, scripts)
Attempts to circumvent security or encryption mechanisms

4. CSAM — zero tolerance

Any user who transmits, solicits, or facilitates CSAM will be reported to KOBIK immediately. Report directly at www.kobik.ch.

5. Anonymity and its limits

Emberline does not collect personal data or log IP addresses. Anonymity does not exempt users from legal responsibility under Swiss law.

6. No warranty

Emberline is provided as-is without warranty of any kind. Use is at your own risk.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed exclusively by Swiss law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Swiss courts.
